Welcome Stephen Bromley
Stephan Bromley
Stephen Bromley has joined Sun Life Global Investments as Director, Institutional Business Development & Client Relationships, based in Vancouver. In this role, Stephen is responsible for business development and client relationship management across Western Canada, working closely with consultants, plan sponsors, group advisors and Sun Life partners to support the continued growth of our institutional business.
Stephen brings 15 years of institutional retirement and investment experience, with a strong track record of helping organizations design, implement and manage retirement and investment programs. Prior to joining Sun Life Global Investments, he spent nearly a decade advising corporate clients on pension and investment strategies before most recently serving as Senior Consultant, Group Retirement Practice at HUB International, where he led growth and retention efforts for complex retirement plans across Western Canada.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and has completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP). His extensive experience working with Western Canadian plan sponsors and investment intermediaries will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand our institutional business.

As our institutional business has grown, we are pleased to announce that James Wells is transitioning into a new role as Director, Institutional Sales Enablement within our Institutional Business. James will focus on strategic initiatives designed to strengthen our business, enhance sales effectiveness and support our growing national team. Working closely with our external clients and colleagues across the organization, James will help ensure that our institutional team continues to deliver exceptional service, insights and solutions to clients and partners across the country. He remains an integral member of our Institutional Business team.

Stephen's extensive experience and deep understanding of the Western Canadian market, combined with James' leadership in Sales Enablement, position us well to continue delivering value for consultants, plan sponsors, group advisors and investment intermediaries across Canada.
